-In 1954, Ken Bender started working for Art. Ken’s first job when he was eight was to be an elf passing out balloons for Santa Claus at the McDonald's in Azuza California, he then worked for Art all through grammar school, middle school, high school, and college. Ken started work full time after graduation from college, becoming a franchisee of the Madera McDonald's in 1973.
